While this is a great book describing declarer play and defensive play, it is by no means a beginner's book. Read the more elementary books by Audrey Grant, Barbara Seagram, or David Bird before you try this one. The book contains quizzes at the end of each chapter and you you may have to repeat many chapters to get adequate scores on these quizzes.
